Eaton Canyon has been a favorite painting site for artists for over a hundred years. In the springtime with the hillsides green and water chattering over the rocks it has a special charm. Naturally, it attracts hikers as well as plein air painters, and two hikers happened through my subject just as I was thinking of the need to add some figures in to show the scale. Done!
